Philly creatives taking action to promise #NeverAgain

We are amazed by the student activists of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

After the massacre at their school, these students courageously shared their experiences with the world while carrying unimaginable grief. They created the #NeverAgain movement to demand action that prevents more school shootings. They planned a march in Washington DC with supporting marches nationwide. They spoke up at rallies and town halls—all in just a few days.

Following in their footsteps, thousands of school children, some as young as kindergarteners, walked out of their classrooms on March 14 in a nationwide plea for gun control.

It’s impossible to not be inspired by these kids. But we need to be more than inspired—we need to be active, and maintain momentum in the weeks and years beyond the march. No matter the grief, helplessness, or fear we feel, the time to act is now.

Join Us to Support Them

Our nation’s children are using their voices to demand action. Creative Change brings together Philadelphia’s creative community to activate what we have—diverse skills, resources, ideas, and an amazing network—to support and sustain the #NeverAgain movement.

The evening is brought to you by a dedicated team of creative professionals from P’unk Ave, and will be hosted by Sara Wachter-Boettcher, author of Technically Wrong and co-host of No You Go podcast. The space for the evening was generously donated by Johnny Brenda’s, with music from Philly’s own all boy/all girl.

Drinks and food will be sold separately, and not included with your ticketed donation.
